If anyone knows how many applications made it through before midnight, I would like to know. I wonder if it was significantly more than 600.

I missed it. On the 30th I was taking a bar exam, and Thursday and Friday I was madly trying to get caught up at work. USAJOBS did not send me the promised email. Hope everyone remembered to put their license number and date of first licensure. That was my mistake the first time. Good luck.

I got the notification from my "judge" and "ALJ" search agent today, August 4, telling me that it had closed August 1.

I reviewed my answers and discovered that I did not put my bar number on the application. My application will be rated NOR unless they somehow overlook this ommission.
Does anyone know if this type of ommission is something that can the subject of a successful appeal?

I had the same problem last year and received a deficient NOR in late June. I just turned around and immediately e-mailed them with all the same information about admissions but added my bar numbers, several times, several places and I got a notice I was ok right at the end of the testing period, actually two days before I had to be in DC to test. You might even consider emailing them the information now and just couch it in terms of supplementing your ap with basic info they're likely to need. If they ignore it now you can always do the response after you receive a formal notice.

I suggest you shoot off an email adding your bar number. The instructions give the following email address for corrections to the application: ALJApplication@opm.gov
I sent an email to that address correcting contact information I had provided in my application.
