Dear LB, With regard to the comment about hiring information, was the 300 number in addition to the 35 to 55 in November and was there an indication as to whether any of that 300 would come from the current register (or will the entire 300 hire take place only after a "new register" which I guess means a "refreshed" register)? Thank you very much.

He led us to believe the 35 - 55 was in addition . . . but I don't think he actually said so. Someone else might have a better memory than I.

This was posted by Reddirtgirl (Georgia?) in Beagle's Blog. I moved it here the best I could, given the limitations of the board, and deleted the original message. Pix.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for posting the information about refreshing the register on your blog. I have been reading the refreshing the register section and the posts are mostly about civil actions. I, like others are watching this blog to learn as much as we can about whether we will have to go through the process again!

... Did Judge Christaudo offer any lessons on how to manipulate an OPM certificate? He doesn't know, PF! He leaves that to others. But, with all due respect to Miss Legal Beagle, I admire your doggedness.

Note to the next class - last night, I went to the Iwa Jima memorial near Arlington Cemetary. The Marine Drum and Bugle Corp and the Silent Drill Team performed - fabulous. Similar performances will take place the next two Tuesdays around 7. Go if you can. It is halfway between the Rosslyn and Arlington Cem. metro stops. Also, the hotel will run you to a nearby Greek restaurant. Most excellent eats. Thanks! I'll definitely check it out. Always wanted to see the Marine Silent Drill team perform live.
