I checked my application in the USAJobs websight and it shows "application update 11/20/2009" but when I went through it and the Application Manager website there are no new messages. Does anyone else have an update, and if so, is there any change with your ap at the Ap Mnger website?

+1 here. No change in date at USAJOBS, no change in app manager.

At Application Manager, mine now says "Awaiting Results, You Will Be Notified" rather than "Pending HR Specialist Review" which it said yesterday. Anyone else have this change? For those of you with past experience, does this mean anything to have the status changed this early (good or bad)? Or...just an update everyone receives at some point before all are notified?

I don't remember all the inscrutable signals rec'd from opm, but the bottom line is there is nothing further you can do at this point but wait for the e-mail from opm that (hopefully) invites you to the remaining tests. It was a little more than a month from my application date to the invite to take the WD and SI.

No change here in either place.

I'm so nervous, mine changed to "complete". That was fast. Last time it took awhile for me to see any change in the status. Any thoughts from anyone.

I even had a ditty that I sang to my wife: "I'm complete, I'm neat, I no longer have two left feet..." You get the drift... OPM is slowly (this is government) getting it done. Try to relax. I know its hard, but what else can you do?

Thanks, privateatty
I'm sure your wife liked the ditty. LOL

"Complete" only means a human has checked and verified you sent in all the required stuff. Next step is for another human to read said stuff and count the number of times you used the secret buzzwords that they have on their list. That takes awhile because they have to do everybody before computing your 'score'

So, Legal Beagle, any idea about why mine would already say "awaiting results. you will be notified"? haven't heard of anyone else getting this message. i am thinking it could be a bad sign, because maybe they do an initial screening, then give those they're interested in further consideration.

My recollection was that it took about a month before I was notified that I had progressed to the WD & SI. Hopefully, they will wait 'til after the holidays to let you know if you didn't make it. All I can say is, either configure your email to accept "All mail" or remember to keep checking your Spam folder so you don't miss it!!

I just checked Application Manager, and indeed my status has changed since this morning, from "pending HR Specialist review" to "Awaiting results--you will be notified." I presume this means they're working their way through the applications. I'm not going to read anything further into it, although I certainly hope rep2's interpretation turns out not to be the case. Bear in mind that a finite number of people are reviewing 900+ applications, one at a time, so we won't all receive status updates at the same time. Good luck to all.

There was the lamentable tale a year or two ago of a poster who had not checked their spam folder. Ouch!

As a follow-up to my post earlier in the thread, I now have the "awaiting results" message that others have reported. Interestingly enough, the application status date didn't change, and I didn't get an email about the change. Well, at least we know that they're still working away at it.

Here's a really dumb question: How do you get into Application Manager to check your status now that the announcement has been pulled from USA Jobs? I'm at work and the USA Jobs website is blocked by our firewall, so I cannot login to "My USA Jobs" or I would check there first. The only time I've ever used Application Manager was when I submitted through the link posted on the announcement. Now that the link is gone, I'm lost. Will appreciate guidance.

For the record, "really dumb questions" (and there are no dumb questions) will be answered. I, for one, was properly chastised a while back for being a bit short. ;D

Here's something interesting I found on the OPM website www.pmf.opm.gov/HFAQ.aspx. The quote below is for Presidential Management Fellow applications on Application Manager, but my take away is that the change in status to "Awaiting Results..." is a positive step. Q9: How can applicants check the status of their application and nomination? A9: During the application process, applicants are asked to either create an Application Manager (https://applicationmanager.gov) account or log into their existing Application Manager account. Application Manager allows applicants to view their linked resume, complete the qualifications questionnaire, submit supporting documents for veterans’ preference (if applicable), and check the status of their PMF Nomination Form. Applicants must utilize their Application Manager account to check their status. Please read additional information about Application Manager under the “How to Apply\Program and Application Overview” section on this website. NOTE: When checking the status of your application, under the "Checklist" tab in Application Manager, the "Written Test" represents the "assessment process" and should be ignored during the application process; the "Assessment Questionnaire" represents the "Qualifications Questionnaire" and is required to complete your application package; "Veterans Documentation" is only required from those applicants claiming veterans' preference; and, "Qualification" represents the "PMF Nomination Form" as explained above. Your application is not complete until all required documents are submitted. If a Nomination Official finds the applicant qualified for nomination and formally nominates by submission of the signed PMF Nomination Form, the applicant’s “Qualifications” status in Application Manager will change from "Incomplete -- missing required documents" to “Awaiting Results – You will be notified”. All nominations are reviewed before official notification is sent to all applicants on their eligibility and nomination status. Submission of a nomination may take a few business days before it is associated with an applicant’s record. If an applicant’s status does not change, he/she may not have been nominated. Applicants should consult their Nomination Official for any questions.

Where on Application Manager does it say “Awaiting Results – You will be notified”.
Is it on the main page?
Does anyone have "no results yet" next to accomplishment record?
