Congratulations futuressaalj and finch on the certs and good luck. Future you may not live up to your Board name and may have to change it to futureohmaalj instead. I wish the same good luck to all other Board members who haven't posted their OHMA cert notifications yet, too.

Nope, I'm not on a cert. I have never been above living vicariously though!

Interesting. I'm on the cert & listed for three cities, Cleveland, Miami and Irvine - not Arlington.
I see that others have indicated they are listed for one or two cities. So, anyone know if the rule of 3's applies and my name on three cities cuts down two folks that OPM has submitted?
For those who are on the cert with me, are any of the cities I listed not on your GAL?
Frankly I'm surprised to be on the Cert. My score was good, but put me in the top 10% - I didn't think that would get me on a small Cert for any other agency. Based on that, I suspect some higher scorers have fairly narrow GAL's.
That could bode well for the rest.

Although my extremely limited (4) GAL choices are now coming back to haunt me, I am very happy for those of you that are on the certs!

Thank you all for the good wishes. You all know my situation timing is everything. I will be lucky if i can get an interview scheduled let alone an offer. My name says it all i will hopefully get on an ssa cert when i return and then hopefully drop the "future" from my name.
Big favor can someone tell me who the RCALJ in region 3 was circa 2006? Was it judge Frank Cristaudo?

So happy for all of you! I have a couple more years before I can have a wide-open GAL, so I'm a little jealous, but mostly really happy that good people are getting good news!
I don't remember anyone on the board figuring that OMHA would get a cert & notice out before ODAR. That's kind of interesting . . . and sure to fuel more of our incessant obsessing as we wait.....
Have a great weekend, folks!

Your name has been referred to us by the Office of Personnel Management on a Certificate of Eligibles for an Administrative Law Judge position in the following field office(s): • Miami, FL 1) Please send me an e-mail as soon as possible, but no later than close of business Friday, April 11, 2014, confirming your interest in an ALJ position in the field office(s) listed above. If the resume you have on file with OPM is not current, please send me an updated resume. That's not very exciting to me, I only want ODAR for the ability to move around the country, but I will do the interview if HHS pays the way, but really want to be with Funkyodar and SSA! Well there are three 10 point vets for miami that we know of. You, Ace and myself and probably even hilltopper

Have a great weekend, folks! We weren't very optimistic that there would be a cert from OMHA at all, but it's no surprise to me, once it came, that it came before ODAR's. Much simpler cert(s), fewer cities. Now they get to pick first.
