I just made the Cert for Denver!!! Although the Subject Line says "Response req. by COB 5/8/14: Interest in ALJ position with OMHA?"
Your name has been referred to us by the Office of Personnel Management on a Certificate of Eligibles ....
Congrats!!! That's awesome!

i just heard the judges are being solicited for interviews in June. Does anyone have an idea what weeks in June interviews will be conducted?

Congrats to both of you. I have to tell you I envy you. I would love to land in Denver first time out. Good luck!

It looks like Wayne is also on the Denver Cert with Tigerlaw and me. I had basically given up on landing on a Cert since I only listed four (4) cities on my GAL. I'm so happy, I can hardly concentrate on preparing for my hearings I have scheduled for tomorrow.

Thanks very much! I didn't realize that it was for the OMHA until after I first posted; I then edited my post. Is that the job where I wouldn't be able to transfer back to Wichita?
Well, Hopefalj just answered my question! I'm getting kind of excited here! Congrats, I just posted the same on the OMHA thread. Denver is my second choice of all cities, Boise, ID is my first, so now I may take the gig if offered. I replied: Go Broncos! So good luck to you, it's close, next door to KS!! Exactly right. I grew up in Wichita (fantastic city -- anyone would be lucky to live there) and have family in Colorado Springs. It's an easy drive through western Kansas.

I think many have given up because they only listed a few cities, but there is an ALJ Fairy.

Love the very notion of an ALJ fairy! Of course there's an ALJ fairy--not that there's anything wrong with that.

Congratulations and having lived in Kansas, I can assure you that Denver is better living than Witchita... I mean unless you are a lineman for the County..

In the past, the OMHA certs have been about 2 weeks before or after the ODAR certs. Of course this is complicated by so many new factors as we all know. But funky's source appears to be on target. OMHA cert deadline to respond is next Thursday so maybe by Friday we will hear something. Plus we heard June interviews are planned? No confirmation of this from the HOCALJs I know but it may be forthcoming. Congrats to all on the OMHA certs! Exciting times for many!
