Not alphabetical by last name. I got the cert at 10:32 EST. But my last name is in the middle of the alphabet. Need another theory. Mine was 10 Central, and my name is a little before the middle of alphabet. And it seems someone at with a last name at the end just got one. So how did you surmise that it isn''t alphabetical? Could just as easily be by SSN, which is another non-random way this stuff can come out. If our Pacific time person upthread has an eastern issued SSN, that theory is still in play. Or, it's pretty much random. What is interesting to me is not in what order they are coming out, but how still relatively few there are, even given our 35 percent or so representation here. Unless something changes substantially, this is NOT a 200 plus person process, IMO.

Congrats to all who have received the emails so far.
2. If anyone who knows they were three struck off the last register because they stopped showing up on certs they otherwise would have been on beginning in February, 2012, RECEIVED an email that they are on the cert this time, please post to that effect or, if you want to be anonymous, pass the word through ALJD.
A little research on those who have received emails tells me that the blanket exclusion of three strikers that began in Feb 2012 DID NOT carry over to this register. Whether there was some more limited exclusion, can't be determined.

Just confirmed that I made the cert. for the only two cities on my very limited GAL for which they are hiring this round, so am well-pleased. Per the poll, my name is near the top of the alphabet and I'm in the Central Time Zone.

Check your spam! My first email went to spam, but the second (with some corrected forms attached) came to my inbox for some reason.

24 so far, and we are approaching the end of the day in Falls Church.
It's a new ball game this time around.

24 so far, and we are approaching the end of the day in Falls Church. It's a new ball game this time around. I promised myself I wouldn't post unless I made the cert but... looks like Loopstok will be riding the pines this time around. Wide-open GAL (not a 179-er but certainly a 175-er) but a score below the bell curve (at least as per this board's polls). Considering all permutations of my time zone, surname, and SS#, it appears that I am not getting any Golden Ticket e-mails on this day. For sure, it appears that Falls Church is not kidding around with this cert -- they're picking only the best and brightest of the best and brightest! Congrats to all who have made it through ... you truly have beaten remarkable odds, and that can only be because of merit and hard work, not just plain luck. I'm privileged to share this corner of the Internet with all of you and will look for happier tidings the next few certs down the road.

I didn't say this directly, but since it appears people are counting, I made the cert for all locations.

24 so far, and we are approaching the end of the day in Falls Church. It's a new ball game this time around. I concur, this is really a surprising number. Assuming conservatively a cert of 45 places x 5 unique names each = ~225 names you'd certainly expect greater representation from this Board, given the polling data on size and place for our GALs and the spread of the reported NOR scores. Verrry Interesting...

Two cities, score in the middle of the curve, pretty decent size GAL, email was in the spam folder, outsider, not a vet, asker of silly questions, and congrats to everyone. I still think you should change your name back. No such thing as a stupid judge, right?

Received mine. Four locations. Score in the upper half. Neither vet nor insider.

My hope is there may be a few more cities still to come; otherwise, I'm out this time around. Maybe next time.

I'm willing to let Monday go by, then I'd say they are done, whether anyone calls to check or not.

Just got back from lunch. NOR above 80 with 10 points, GAL 85 cities, no city north of Indy unless it was in the West as Boise, Salt Lake City and Denver were my top three hopes.
18 locations plus OMHA cities of Denver and Miami if I get the offer and go that route.
Congrats to all.

On a possibly related note: Anyone else having trouble signing in to usajobs.gov? It doesn't let me enter my user or pass. Nope. I've been in it much of the day.
