Self-Imposed ban of funkyodar and moopigsdad.......

Well, well, well......it is nice to be back on the Board since my self-imposed band I took after the example of my brother, funky. I can tell you going cold turkey, like any addiction, is hardest the first few days because you are so used to doing the same thing of checking the Board frequently. At first, I wasn't sure I could do it, but after the first couple of days it became much easier to stay away and have so much more time to myself. I need to thank funky for setting the example for taking time off for his transgressions and I know I have done similar in the past, so I decided to join my bro in the self-imposed ban from the Board.

I would recommend it to those of you who find yourself checking the Board ten or more times a day. The Board can indeed become addictive, like crack, heroin, marijuana, etc, once it gets you in its grip and you find yourself constantly checking it. LOL! I know this to be true about the Board as I was there in the past. I will try hard to be on the Board less than in the past, especially with a lull coming up after this hiring of first certers and prior to the second cert. Besides, I cannot return to the "old ways" of my addiction.

Don't get me wrong, it is nice to be back and I have missed all of my posting friends, but I now know I truly needed to force myself to take the break from the Board. Also, it seems many people missed my bro (funky) more than me. I concur that he is indeed more seductively funny and informative than I, but he is an"insider" with knowledge and he has that great looking beard. It was nice that he and I stayed in touch during our self-imposed ban. Funky is truly my bro from another set of parents and I appreciate his friendship. Thank you to those who PM'ed me during my self-imposed ban for your kind words. You are truly the special people and friends I know I have on the Board. It is nice to be back and now for some other thread comments.
