If you take a big trash bag and cut a head hole and arm holes, it will hold up better than paper to rain and sweat and such. And you can get them in brown or white, giving you style options.

Thanks so much for all your fashion advice... Glad to help out. Can you believe they've never offered me a TV show dispensing this great advice?

I had been trying to cut back on my recent addiction to this forum, thinking the Second Certers needed to move into the 'hurry up and wait' mode, and then THIS happens! Thanks Sratty for keeping us informed, and I am back to waiting but hopeful it will be a shorter wait!

Thanks so much for all your fashion advice... In my neck of the woods, we must use clear yard bags - no brown or black. That would be an epic fail to use my yard bags for any interview... I'll stick to a suit

I'll stick to a suit Thank you for my laugh of the day sealaw90. An imagination or picturing of this action led me to burst out loud laughing hysterically. I do agree that clear plastic bags are not the way to go.

Future how long did you have to spend in photoshop to darken in these trash bags as they were originally clear?

Along the lines of the fashinistas on this board, we have some new ideas for what not to wear on the interview... NPR article I appreciate all the loud guffaws on my fashion sense - isn't it great to snort out loud at your desk on a Monday morning? Hah!

I've been out of town for a couple of weeks, not enough computer access to follow the board. So I pop it open last night and see this post. Woo hoo! My two cents is that "this year" means "this year", ie, before 12/31. I hope a lot of us putative "second certers" are watching the ball drop in Times Square with a new job. Cheers!

I'll probably make MPD angry by posting a quote, but I was thinking today about the immortal words of Fleetwood Mac:
If you wake up and don't want to smile If it takes just a little while Open your eyes and look at the day You'll see things in a different way
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow Don't stop, it'll soon be here It'll be, better than before Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
Why not think about times to come And not about the things that you've done If your life was bad to you Just think what tomorrow will do
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow Don't stop, it'll soon be here It'll be, better than before Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
All I want is to see you smile If it takes just a little while I know you don't believe that it's true I never meant any harm to you
Don't stop, thinking about tomorrow Don't stop, it'll soon be here It'll be, better than before Yesterday's gone, yesterday's gone
Don't you look back, don't you look back...

Thank you, Mizz. I'm humming the song as I eat my dinner of celery sticks and alfalfa sprouts...
