Yes, 2 cities on mine. One previously not included on list of 44 locations (I think there were 44)

I also just got 4 new places & one of them would have been my #1 ranking, for what it's worth. Think it's okay to rank them all over again? The new form doesn't really suggest it. . .

Yes, 2 new cities added this morning, asking me to rerank my now total 40 cities (I had previously negated 5 from my cert.)

I saw one but also saw comments that suggest more.)

Is it possible that this was related to SrAtty's post about movement on the register?

For those who are handicapping the process I had seven cities added. Of the 44 original cities on this cert 38 were on my GAL. Of those cities I was originally only referred for 12, 6 of which I declined because I knew I couldn't stand them long enough to even transfer. Of the seven additional cities, I would probably accept any of them, except maybe one. My score is on the lower side of the 74-75 band, which I had originally thought would put me on the second cert even with a highly successful interview. My new WAG guess based on the number and relative quality increase of the cities that I have been referred to makes me think there have been a very high number of declined cities or outright declined offers to interview. Based on this I now think that everyone who goes to interview, with a reasonably wide open GAL has a legitimate shot at making this hire, even if your score is at the cut off. I however will defer to those who actually run the stats.

Is it possible that this was related to SrAtty's post about movement on the register? Not likely. This is probably the result of the dropped cities from the rankings all the first cert folks did.

i was previously not in competition for hartford, greenville or eugene. those were added along with morgantown.
i just quickly cut and pasted those four to my old list, ranked them in so its now 1 to 42 instead of 1 to 38 renamed the new file as my updated pref list and sent it back. hope thats ok. did it all from my phone sitting on the balcony, lol.

You should be conducting business wide awake and at full-throttle at your office on a Saturday morning like Bob and I do. Man, I hope ODAR is reading this. L'dOL at this one. Thanks for that!

I'm just thinking that it would be prudent to follow directions. Plus everything in the civilian hiring world is very structured, what is done for one is to be done for all otherwise the agency opens itself to claims.
