Dress code? I thought I could wear shorts and a t-shirt under my 'dress code' robe. You are thinking of the video hearing advantage. I thought that was boxers and the mini robe for extra ventilation.

It sounds awful ... Dress code ... Dealing with the public ... Heavy case load ... Code of conduct ... Answerable to taxpayers ... No end in sight ... Why would anyone want this job? Dress code? I thought I could wear shorts and a t-shirt under my 'dress code' robe. I think so long as you wear a wig and proper shoes, you're golden. Who's gonna know you don't have a dress/kilt on under there?

You mean I can't just wear shorts and a T-shirt without the "dress code" robe? LOL!

You mean I can't just wear shorts and a T-shirt without the "dress code" robe? LOL! You can, but you oughtn't. Back in the day - I clerked for a judge who wore polo shirt, cargo shorts and sandals under his robe. He also had an antique brass spittoon next to the bench. He marched to the beat of his own drum, for sure.

What do you mean 'back in the day'? Mid 90s. I can't imagine they let him chew tobacco in the courthouse? Must be a 1-judge district...

You are thinking of the video hearing advantage. I thought that was boxers and the mini robe for extra ventilation. I'm buying a mini-robe today. Just cause it sounds awesome.
