Today's Drink of the Day is much like the rollout of offers: Absolutly Screwed Up
1 shot Absolut® Citron vodka 1 shot orange juice 1 shot triple sec fill with ginger ale
Better [quickly] shaken than stirred. Repeat as necessary.

I am glad I don't have a dog in this hunt. I would be breaking out the French 75--champagne, cognac and a few other ingredients. Named for the WWI French cannon. Knock back and few and you know why.

I'm trying to save the big guns. My theory is that the longer this continues, the stronger the drink we'll need.

Long Island Ice Tea Recipe
Original recipe makes 1 serving 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger vodka 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger gin 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger rum 1 (1.5 fluid ounce) jigger triple sec liqueur 1 teasp00n tequila 2 teasp00n orange juice 2 fluid ounces cola-flavored carbonated beverage 1 wedge lemon
I think I will have a Long Island Ice Tea. I'll have a second one. I'll have a third one. Now, what was it I was drinking and why am I looking at this ALJ Dicussion Board?
Who knew that tea and sp00n put together as one word came out as teasthingy?

You know, the SSA Monitors reading this thread are going to think we start drinking early, continue throughout the day, and finish with a nightcap or two. We might want to be more circumspect so they don't get the right idea.

I suggest that ODAR drink large quantities of vodka and prune juice. THEN we might see some MOVEMENT out of them!

In honor of Brazil getting knocked down and getting back up again, today's Drink of the Day is the Caipirinha:
2 tsp granulated sugar 8 lime wedges 2 1/2 oz Sagatiba Pura
Muddle the sugar into the lime wedges in an old-fashioned glass. Fill the glass with ice cubes. Pour the cachaca into the glass. Stir well. Repeat as necessary and at your own risk!!

There's a big difference between virtual drinking and real life drinking. In the virtual world, I also sky dive.

To celebrate Germany's World Cup win the Drink of the Day is a cool, frosty Beck's beer.

1 oz cherry brandy 1 oz amaretto almond liqueur 1 oz banana liqueur 3/4 oz orange juice
Pour the cherry brandy, amaretto, banana liqueur and orange juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice cubes. Shake well and strain into a chilled cocktail glass. Serve, and toast Bob with positive thoughts of offers for our board members. Repeat as necessary.

I'm unaware of any other demographic that actually enjoys Jäger.

No, that can't be right as that sounds like a Kiefer Sutherland television series.
