That would be like back in the day getting a public endorsement from Howard Hughes.

Between now and his report date, Funky should broker a Middle East peace deal. Should be a piece of cake compared to earning the respect of people on both this Board and TOB.

I thought we were already doing that... quit job, check. Move, check. Uniform, check. Baglady's concoctions, check. So where's the difference? Awesome analogy! "What a long, strange trip it's been..."

Sheesh. This thread is giving me a complex.
Gonna be muy muy disappointed folks when they meet the real deal schlub and he doesn't measure up to the virtual version.
Of course, with all the VPN talk in the agency, maybe we will all just be avatars soon.

I heard that, later today, the White House was going issue a statement congratulating Funky on his appointment.

I heard that, later today, the White House was going issue a statement congratulating Funky on his appointment. It was issued at 3:30 PM. I mean, even the White House is in on the congratulations.

This thread is way too funny. Congrats Funky, and hopefully you'll have as much fun as I do with this job. I think the video below is very fitting for the occasion: Enjoy and don't forget to hit your 500+ dispos.

Congrats, Funky! I am a little late to the party. I have been off the boards for awhile. I hope you continue to offer your insight to those you are leaving behind.

So tomorrow Funky, Tiger, Baglady, and many others will walk in the door of their new offices as judges for the first time. I hope those of you who are relocating have gotten settled in this weekend and wish you all good luck tomorrow. I suggest that all of us raise a glass to your success.

I hope They are settling in nicely there in Falls Church. I know you guys are busy but any news or pro-tips from the front lines would be appreciated.

Funky's busy tearing up Middlesboro, and tiger and the other outsiders are struggling to stay awake while watching VODs of the five-step sequential evaluation. Hopefully all are getting quality mentoring. Actually, I am curious to know what funky is up to these first 2-3 weeks.

Actually, I am curious to know what funky is up to these first 2-3 weeks. Amazon surfing. Do you have any idea how difficult it is to find a quality dartboard and set of darts for the office in Middlesboro? Where's the nearest Sports Authority to the ODAR office, anyway? That, and twiddling. Perhaps he can give us a day-by-day?
