Middlesboro (local /ˈmɪdəlzbɜrə/)[2] is a3rd-class city in Bell County, Kentucky,United States. The population was 10,334 at the 2010 U.S. census,[3] while its micropolitan area had a population of 69,060.[4] It is located 1 mile west of theCumberland Gap[2] and is the largest city in southeastern Kentucky.[5] It is located entirely between Pine Mountainand the Cumberland Mountains in the Middlesboro Basin, which geologists believe to be an enormous meteor crater (one of three known astroblemesin the state). The city claims to be the only one in the United States built entirely inside such a crater,[6] as well as the home of ragtime music and the oldest continuously-played golf coursein the country.[7] And, of course, funky lives there now. That factoid hasn't made it to Wiki yet. That destroys my faith in the complete correctness of Wiki.

Is Middlesboro known for its black magic or is the amount of spam today just a coincidence? Spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam, spam...

I have learned a lot about this country just by reading about all the places I could be assigned if fortunate enough to be offered a spot. Even if not selected, this process has helped me grow and become more open to possibilities. Best of luck everyone.

Birthplace of one Richard Wayne Penniman - better known to music fans as "Little Richard". In addition, it was the hometown of Otis Redding and the Allman Brothers Band.

Not a whole lot of people go to Middlesboro, other than Funky. Not a whole lot of well known people from there - but one of them is Lee Majors - The Six Million Dollar Man. (And he was married to the late, great Farrah Fawcett).

Middlesboro is now at least a "second-class city" now that Funky is there, if his presence doesn't kick it all the way up to the vaunted "first-class city" status in the world of Wiki definitions.
Meanwhile, millions continue to flee Richmond and its charred and zombie-infested environs.

Are zombies even eligible for disability? I volunteer to go to Richmond ... I've seen every episode of The Walking Dead, so I feel ready. Anyone know where I can buy a katana?

It is impossible to discuss Tupelo without Van Morrison playing.

Columbus is full to the brim with Ohio State fans. They are immune to zombies due to the lack of brains to consume.

Columbus is full to the brim with Ohio State fans. They are immune to zombies due to the lack of brains to consume. That is a negative. I count on zombies to provide a good portion of my entertainment. NTS, edit GAL spreadsheet to include "supernatural" column, weighted factor.
