@ Bikingnut - I like your avatar/picture. I just started Season One of Dr. Who. I had no idea it would be as good as it is. @ Everyone - Hi. I started as a lurker, then I started to post, then I started lurking again. I think it is time I start posting again. Someone has to represent for the Arkansas Hogs during football season! Go SEC! lol Hi Nikster! You will get hooked. I watched the first seven seasons over the summer and am excited every Saturday for a new episode with the thirteenth doctor! Enjoy!

Thank you. Already learning a lot. About the process? Or about college football? Either way, it's a education!

Hi Nikster! Tell your Hogs to get their act together, and join the rest of the SEC West in the top 20! Glad to have you here, but--Geaux Tigers! Oh yeah--Roll Tide Roll!!!!! Bama has tomorrow off. My yelling at the TV skills will be available to any team except Notre Dame. Please inform me of why I should yell at the TV on behalf of your team by 9:00 this evening (EDT). I will consider all proposals, give them a points value based on an unknown, arbitrary and capricious formula known only to me, and then inform you tomorrow which team will benefit from my yelling skills. Roll Tide!

You should yell on behalf of the Volunteers. There are three reasons that I can think of off the top of my head.
1. On October 25, 2014, Alabama will take the field and one more time stomp the crap out of TN. The current record between these to traditional enemies is 50-38-7. Most of those 38 wins by TN occurred when either General Neyland or Peyton Manning roamed the sidelines. Otherwise its pretty hard on your northern neighbors. So out of a respect for our shared history and sense of pity I would ask that you support TN.
2. This week TN plays UGA and I can think of no good reason to root for UGA. I cannot think of a good reason not to root against UGA. Most likely anybody else requesting your assistance on behalf of their team will have an opponent who may engender hostility or positive feelings that cannot be said of UGA.
3. TO WIT Lane Kiffin. That guy owes us one and you should pay up on his behalf.
Therefore, I ask that you support UT. The original UT not the one with the ugly burnt orange clothes in Texas.

Unfortunately Oregon is also taking the week off or I'd urge you to yell on behalf of The Ducks because Puddles is the toughest school mascot. To wit:

I have amended my petition accordingly.
Puddles is a mad man and I like it.

I have amended my petition accordingly. Puddles is a mad man and I like it. Gaidin now has triple extra points for the following reasons: 1. The use of "to-wit." That reason has now expired. No more extra points for "to-wit." 2. The use of large font size, bold face, underlining, and red lettering. Very obnoxious. 3. The fact that when I typed "Gaidin" into my phone it autocorrected to "Hasidim," which made me giggle in the midst of Friday decision-writing mania, because I pictured his avatar in a big black hat and a beard and a black overcoat. When I said arbitrary and capricious, I was not even kidding.

Wait a minute.
1. Shouldn't I get extra points for originating the use of "to wit?"
2. And shouldn't Gaidin be assessed a fifteen yard penalty for unabashed pandering?

Extra credit for coming up with a good idea is the exact opposite of arbitrary and capricious. I should know. I'm from The Government. I'm here to help.
As such, Gary should be fined the fair market value of 37 boxes of Harry Potter books, payable in Board Dollars. Now THAT would be arbitrary and capricious. (And I feel like I'm channeling some of my truly insane former bosses at this very moment.) 212 points to Gaidin should be awarded, just because...
Carry on, and go 'Hoos!

But Oregon isn't even playing this week. You get a technical for whining. :-P But I'll give you some extra extra points because Oregon's QB was on the cover of SI last week or sometime recently.

Gaidin, I have awarded you 327.63 points and you are the winner. However, I need to record the game because I have errands to run and the game starts in an hour. I promise to yell my loudest and to throw in a few "in your face" taunts against GA.

I feel fairly confident that your support is the only reason Gurley did not run for 300 yards. I hope when if Gurley sticks around to graduate Mark Richt gives him a huge graduation present because Gurley is likely the only reason Richt will have a job tomorrow.
