Anyone still waiting to be called for an interview time slot? Yes. There were 16 of us according to the poll. Wow! Makes me wonder how the scheduling is done. When I got the call, I was told this was the only day available and here are the time slots. Perhaps as others have posted, the scheduler may only had a specific day and unavailable to look at other dates.

There are several different schedulers calling and they apparently have their own specific lists and times.

My best guess is ODAR won't meet the target date of 11/22 and will have to schedule interviews after Thanksgiving. Hence, the hiring/offer dates will be pushed back as well, and the January training dates modified as necessary.

Miss:
Feel you pain. But with a number of 2nd certers yet to be giving interview dates; how else can they and everyone else be considered? Unless ODAR starts offering positions after 11/22? I think they would come under intense observation if they offered positions w/o having all of the interviews completed. Just my 2 cents.
Like you, we have all waited a long time, and any delay is most disturbing.
At least your response is way better than Comcast. Poor internet, cable and phone since Saturday.

We do not know that they have filled all the interview times through the 21st yet. I have faith they will get us all in with only a rare exception for the 1st of Dec.

Sratty:
Only time will tell. Yes, I hope everyone gets to interview ASAP. As a result, job offers go out before the holiday season.

Thanks Gary and hound:
My hope is that we all do well and get picked up for positions around the country.
Having vetted through all the testing and process, we certainly need to believe we are worthy of the position.
As they would say in Hawaiian: Mahalo Nui Loa!

OK, I am not an insider and privileged to the inner workings of ODAR. Before makings job offerings, I think ODAR would have to consider all potential candidates; and thereafter consider folks on the cert. Of course; I play the lottery.

Before makings job offerings, I think ODAR would have to consider all potential candidates; and thereafter consider folks on the cert. Of course; I play the lottery. For a particular slot, SSA may only hire one of the top 3 scoring candidates on the cert having that slot who hasn't already been hired. So only those three candidates get considered for the slot. SSA has the discretion to consider or not consider for a slot any candidate who has already received three bona fide considerations for an SSA ALJ position.

Sadly, this is almost certain to delay the offers until mid-late December or even January - unless there is some tiered/layered way to do so and bank the late interviews until subsequent hiring rounds in 2015. The rule is normally - they don't have to interview, but inteview one, you have to interview them all. On an unreleated note: I still haven't received anything on the supplemental cities - at least 1 of them should be on my list and it was specifically not screened out by me last time. I don't imagine there are still many left to schedule. The last I checked the poll, only 12 of us responded that we still needed the call. Doesn't the email refer to offers anticipated in January?

Yes, although it says you must prepare to report in January, not necessarily must or will report at that time.
