Imho, an admission has been made to violation of the confidentiality agreement. I dunno. Not mad at anyone, but thoughts on this sort of situation? You assume there was a breach of confidentiality. What I was referring to was an application of the law. Thank you tiger for the vote of confidence.

Good luck to all of you. At training, you should wear a discreet button with your avatar picture pasted to it. So if I see , say, a bulldog, I will give you a Milk Bone and wink knowingly, and introduce myself. I like Purina hamster kibble myself, but I drink beer, too. See you at supplemental training! Thanks Hamster, it would be great to meet you some day indeed.

Privateatty your post never made me think at any time that you did something improper. Thank you for your continued helpful posts my friend.

Glad the misunderstanding is resolved. Sometimes Internet just makes people assume the worst...

Glad the misunderstanding is resolved. Sometimes Internet just makes people assume the worst... I agree ALJD.....I have known privateatty forever and have followed his posts and he would never do anything wrong and what is more is that he has been nothing but helpful in giving advice to inform others....paying it forward. Also, I think zepplin misread (as you said about easily misinterpreting email) private's post to be something it wasn't. Tigerlaw was helpful in diffusing it before I could respond. We have a great Board here and I am appreciative of it and all those who contribute to make it great.

Slow down Cowboy, you are reading way too much into that post. PrivateAtty said no such thing, a general conversation, "counseled" is in NO WAY an admission of anything (maybe he/she told him to get a "deep tissue massage" before the test, whatever. My thoughts on this sort of situation, Chill Bill, relax Jack and don't read allegations of a "violation" where none exist.
IMHO, tiger
Ah, the wisdom of Judge Tigerlaw. Hope to kiss the hem of your robe someday... I've seen the hem of that robe and you don't want to be kissin it. Tiger is definitely all cowboy. You'd be kissing a lot of BS he's been kickin up and gettin on that Robe. Better a simple tip of the hat. Just sayin. HT

Anotherfed, now you made me blush! Had a great day in hearings. First one withdrew the appeal yesterday, second one went, but the last one withdrew at the hearing because of working SGA. Hilltopper was at it for 5 hours with 4 hearings and I was in and out in 1.25 hrs with 2 dispositions and a good day. So it's miller time and relaxing. Ahhh, case assignment - a word to the wise for all newbies. Find out who does case assignment at your new office [in our case it was a Group Supervisor] and take them to Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Bribe them. Do whatever it takes to win them over. I still haven't figured out what Tiger did or how Tiger was able to bribe the Group Sup. here to give him all the files with 30 - 60 pages of medical records (a fair number of which drop their claims right before or at their hearing) and I'm doing full hearings on files averaging 300 - 450 pages of medical records. Mama said I'd pay for my sins one day. Just didn't think it would be Tiger and his Group Sup. that would be doing the payin. A word to the wise ... find that Group Sup's weak spot and exploit it with impunity. HT

ALJD may have reached Board Admin Nirvana... The era of polite self-policing. Just as long as Judge Tiger doesn't draw his six-shooter and chessparent doesn't smell blood in the water, we're good!
I think it's important to reiterate that the vast majority of folks on this Board are good folks, with good intentions, with a firm grasp of the law, and with a firm ethical backbone. Many of the Board members have known each other for years, and in my case, it only seems like it's been years (in a good way). I'll always assume the best of intentions - and wish for the best - for our devoted Board regulars. I'm honored to get to discuss matters with folks who, for the most part, are the lawyers and professionals our parents always wanted us to be. And even if one of us is not, I'll follow Grandmama's advice from south Georgia, and just politely ignore them. After all, when things get interesting, Tiger, J., still has that six-shooter, Funky has the charm and force of personality of Being Funky, and ALJD has even larger caliber firepower.
Going Scalia now, so as to get back to the original intent of the Framers of this Thread, I hope I get to meet y'all someday! We shall eat well in Arlington, whenever I get the call to go to training! I'll bring the cheese!

Glad the misunderstanding is resolved. Sometimes Internet just makes people assume the worst... IMHO, this process and the waiting doesn't help matters. People's nerves really get shot. Hang in there, folks!
