Ditto on what HT and KL (KittyLaw)opined. The management and structure of OMHA seemed to be vastly different than SSA. The team concept, at least for me, would have been preferable...but, as with Tiger, other factors made the decision for me.
I am enjoying my current job, working with a great group of people, (including fabulous writers), but there is no control over who does what to whom. lol. That could definitely be an issue in some offices.

Dep Chief " Skip" Moore seems to be a great person to work for and the job gives you control over your team of lawyers and paralegals. He would like it better if you referred to him as "Spike," as that is what he goes by. And yes he is a great person. Former DA in Texas. I can't remember where, though.

Looks like Bee County, just outside of Corpus Christi. Just in case you cared.

Thanks Pixie, I am terrible with names after moving around the world for 36 years. I say all the time that I wish we could wear name tags for the first few months so I can get all the names down. I love the name plates on the cubicles in the office, it helps this old man to remember names.
But Dep Chief "Spike" Moore would probably just laugh it off as he really seems to be a great guy. But thanks again as once it gets stuck in my head, I would of kept calling him that instead of his true nickname.

In Tiger's defense, "Skip Moore" sounds much less harmful than "Spike Moore". You know, as a general outlook on life.

"Skip Moore" is also a play on words like the Funky Winkerbean character "Les Moore."
