Greetings, I applied for a closed exam under 5 CFR 332.311(a) and OPM notified me that they had "begun the examination process for the 10-point preference eligible applicants that applied for the closed Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) examination."
The application was received and acknowledged by OPM in August, so I expected some type of exam or further notification by the end of December - but now I think they mean the examination process includes their application evaluation period.
Has anyone had similar experiences? Knowledge of their "closed" process timeline?
Thank you in advance for your responses.

I thought we had some posts fairly recently from 10 point vets who had gone to DC for testing. They might be able to share the timelines for their application. I'm not sure where their posts are, whether in their own thread or tacked on to another one.
I assume you have only done the application, and not any of the further online testing that you have to pass before the in person testing?

A good start is the "10 Pt. Vet Thread" (currently on page 2 when I search). I will add that I was scheduled in December for the WD/SI re-exam but had to ask for a re-schedule and was told I would be re-scheduled early in calendar year 2015. I'm waiting as patiently as I can and appreciate the re-schedule opportunity from the OPM ALJ team.
