FWIW: In November, I received my cert email at 12:39 pm CT. I believe others received theirs earlier in the day.

Although I think it won't be today, I got the supplemental in January about this time (mine was around 2:25 Eastern).
So, who knows? I don't think much later than this would be expected, though.

And some people were too busy dancing and singing and calling their family to report back to the board immediately.

I received my cert email at 336 pm on a Monday so it appears it can be anytime.

I am working OT tomorrow, so I will report if anyone in Bob's camp is working.

Looks like the HQ folks are enjoying their weekend rather than working.

We can all now enjoy our weekend and look forward to some news next week. Hopefully a good way to celebrate the beginning of the Spring season.

It seems as if the cert emails start in the morning - I don't recall getting them until the afternoon but knew they were on the way because of the posts on the Board.

It seems as if the cert emails start in the morning - I don't recall getting them until the afternoon but knew they were on the way because of the posts on the Board. Seems likely. SSA doesn't have much time to spare though. Assuming cert emails are sent tomorrow: With a May 18 starting date for the next class, if you allow 1 week for return of paperwork; 1 week for Hiring Committee deliberations; 2 weeks for offers/acceptances; and at least 4 weeks between hiring and start date (as SSA has been doing), all the time is used up. They may be able to shave a little time off this schedule, but I'm not sure I see them shaving off enough to do any more interviews for the May hiring class. Further interviews will likely be for the next hiring class (June? July?), and they could occur during the period between hiring and the start date for the May class. But my predictions are generally wrong.

It is likely to be a small amount of people interviewed based upon the new certs. I could see three days of interviews occurring early next week and deliberations the rest of the week. Offers going out the following two weeks. The only question will be if SSA has enough time to hire 40 to 50 people in those two weeks IMHO.

Nothing in this entire process has proceeded as expected from a timeline standpoint. I've given up projecting when, how, and how many. I think certs drop in the next few days (and I believe this will be the first time that recognition of 3-strikes comes for some) - and it will be off to the races once again. There have been some tight windows for interviews and the entire process has echoed the military meme of "Hurry up and wait."

Nobody panic!!! I think we have one more round before anyone is thrice struck. We've only had two cert rounds so far, with two classes hired from each round. When I'm counting official cert rounds, I'm going off the "Sorry, we didn't hire you this time and this cert is now closed" emails.
Totally agree on the Hurry up and wait sentiment...

Someone could easily have been three struck already. But, until and unless ODAR asks OPM to leave the three struck off lists, everyone is still fair game, as ODAR can go back to considering someone that was three struck if they choose to.

Bump... I surmise ODAR has a sense of humor and commences offers the first Wednesday of April. What say you, scheduling gurus? After the Trifectas, would these be the Quadricerts? I think this is as good a thread as any to keep the May class info running (and confined to a single thread). C Just sayin... Bob has a sense of humor.

The solicitation email for instructors for the June training class (May starting date) went out. It apparently said "tentative." Although it said "tentative" at least things seem to still be on track for the May 18 start and June 8 training class.

Not sure this has been reported, but I don't think it has.
The Agency plans to hire 40 to 50 new judges approximately every other month for the rest of the year (fiscal?) and expects to be up 150 judges from where it was at the beginning of the year.
Planning to hire 250 total with just over 80 of those already hired.
So, this is a good time to be on the register. Pixie.
