What about a pot kept so hidden from view that you can't see whether there is a flame under it?

I just like the song I wasn't looking for any boiling in a pot or otherwise. Nope not me I am just going to go recheck my email in case I inherit some money from a Nigerian prince. Yep nothing to do with whether or not there is an email about certs in there. Not at all.

As I struggle to avoid watching pots boil and avoid staring at my silent phone, I feel the need for an uplifting quote.
As noted by our sixth President (and renowned attorney with more than 7 years of litigation experience):
Patience and perseverance have a magical effect before which difficulties disappear and obstacles vanish.
John Quincy Adams
I could use a little magic today.

We are getting to the sweet spot for cert. releases. If we are going to see the CERT today I would bet it will be in the next two hours. Fingers crossed. Marathon, not a sprint.

If we don’t see new certs by the end of the day, I would posit that we will not be seeing any, or at least only a very few, before the next hire. First, there is no reason for the powers that be to have run themselves into a very tight deadline by holding back new certs this long. Certs easily could have been sent out earlier this week or even last week. This is especially true if the the number of certs were to be large. And I have seen no intel concerning interviewers scheduled to be in Falls Church in April.
Second, the November and January certs included approximately fifty locations. More than a dozen of those locations did not get filled at all in December or February. And, more than a dozen more had only one hire. It seems feasible to me that another 40+ can be hired in these locations from the existing pool of candidates without the need for additional certs and interviews at this time.
On the upside, if I am correct, offers can go out a little earlier than four weeks before May 18th as there would be no need to wait for numerous interviews to be completed and the results evaluated before extending offers. Just my WAG.

Just my WAG. I think this is a good theory. But I also think new cert emails could go out Monday with any interviews that are needed starting to be scheduled the following Monday. Interviews could be the week of April 6th. Offers starting 1- 2 weeks from that date beginning about April 15th. If they have offers out by April 20th that still gives 4 weeks notice.

Seems to me they could easily match the last time line with a new cert coming out next week or the following week. As I recall, that time line went emails out in early November, interviews within a few weeks in late November and early December, offers starting in mid-December for a late January start. More than two months between the cert and the start date - and that included the Christmas and New Year holidays.

I believe today is the day and if it is will a highscore/wideopen GAL'er post their cert list or PM somebody they trust with it. Once I have a list we believe is the entirety of the list I will get a poll up. In the meantime enjoy this musical interlude.

I gather by the silence that no one has received a cert email yet today.

I think it is important for folks to know that once we get the cert emails, you need to think long and hard about whether you want to live in each city for a while. And whether you do may have to do with the WEATHER. So while we are waiting, you all might want to check out all the places that are getting SNOW on this spring day. Where I live it might even be a record snowfall today, but last year, we had snow in MAY. And if it isn't a permanent location, it makes it difficult to travel home. Just sayin'.

Where I live it's Spring and we're having a Winter Storm too, with oodles of snow and whiteout conditions and long expressway travel times. If any of you delicate-mild-climate flowers gets an offer for here you may want to consider whether you're really prepared to live like this three-quarters of the year every year.
