For whatever it's worth, I put a request for read receipt on my submission of the forms last week, and it was read this afternoon (very recently to this post). I assume they can kind of tell from the contents whether you have declined everything or not, and I sent the GAL in a different e-mail, so maybe they don't need the other forms right away (or maybe they just don't need mine ... ...), but if they are still opening and reviewing forms for potential compliance with the requirements for being considered, I am not sure I would expect calls to start tomorrow. Having said that, of course, it might just be my call that will not start tomorrow. Or my cities, or what have you. Knowledge is power. So, lack of knowledge is... Addendum: I left the ellipsis hanging to imply knowing silence in the presence of basically a rhetorical question, with the assumption that most people would mentally insert "impotence" or something similar. However; there is insufficient information from which to logically answer the rhetorical question. I suddenly feared that I would have misled people into a logical fallacy by relying on a common misconception, which is NOT something I want it to look like I am doing, especially with this group! Just for clarity, "knowledge is power" is not the same as and does not logically lead to "not knowledge is not power." "Not knowledge" may be its own kind of power, or the presence of knowledge may be sufficient, but not necessary for the presence of power. There is no logically correct answer to complete the ellipsis from the offered premise except "lack of knowledge," other than for humourous effect. Sorry. Prop, I had a very hard time following that. You must have killed the LBMT!!!!

I got an email requesting a document that I sent on Friday, but apparently they didn't get. They are definitely IN and WORKING, even if it IS 4/20.

Got an email this afternoon saying they didn't get anything from me, even though I sent the forms in within the hour of receiving them. Hoping that the problem was overly large files and will be sorted out tomorrow.I have until 4 tomorrow to get this fixed.

I had one rejected when I first sent it in because it was too big. It looks like any attachments needed to be under 10 mb, so I had to re-scan one a lower resolution.

This is an good indication that no offers will be forthcoming until after tomorrow, perhaps Wed or Thurs to give them time to finish up these glitches. They are clearly still working on the paperwork issues.

Offers will absolutely not start tomorrow. No way.

As I recall, there are not that many needing interviews, so they may be able to get all the scheduling calls done today and tomorrow while they paperwork glitches (people needing to confirm email receipt) get worked out. I suppose offers could still start but I would think that would put a strain on staffing. Seems more reasonable to see offers starting later in the week.
EDIT: offers for the May start, clearly offers for those being interviewed will not be for the May starting group.

This is the strangest thing. I just got a call at work. The nice man said he wondered if I was still interested in a job with the SSA. He then asked me if I wanted to come to Falls Church for an interview and scheduled me for mid May. He asked to confirm my email and one letter had been left out, which may be why I never got an email saying I was on the cert. I am just kind of sitting here staring at my screen, because it all seems unreal. I have one city on my GAL, but I think it is enough of some people's crapland that it shows up from time to time.
My question is now it sounds like people who got an initial email had to respond with paperwork, etc. so should I call back and make sure I have everything? Or is that something that happens only after I interview?
I am still pretty much convinced I'm dreaming.

You should call back and see when your paperwork will arrive and when it is due. Some of it can take a while to fill out.
