I would call that number back and ask for Alicia. Failing that, ask to be transferred to Bob Gehlken or Mellinda Werderitch.

I would call that number back and ask for Alicia. Failing that, ask to be transferred to Bob Gehlken or Mellinda Werderitch. The people setting up the travel are not in the same dept with Bob and Melinda. Even if Alicia's not there, I think they will able to help you at that number. There is usually more than one person doing the calls.

I got a call as well with no email. That was a whirlwind experience. I have an interview August 5 in Falls Church. He did not know the locale for which I'm interviewing I only have 2 locations on my NOR so I assume it is one of those two unless they opened the GAL without my knowledge.
I have not received the confirmation email with my flight itenerary yet (checked spam). Does anyone know how long does it take to send that info?

I got the call too! I was surprised because my GAL is VERY limited. I figured I would have to wait for a GAL expansion. I have yet to talk to the person with SSA, though. He missed me and I left him a message. Any idea when these interviews are being scheduled for? Posters have reported being offered 7-29 through 7-31. The guy I spoke with had July 29 as an option and August 4 and 5. That was it at 3:45p cst. He spoke real fast so I cannot recall all time slots.

Congratulations to all getting their interviews. Make sure you have lined up your references since they will be called soon especially with a short interview schedule. I cannot recall. How many references are candidates limited to list?

I have not received the confirmation/travel email yet either. He did talk kinda fast but was real nice and informative. He told me my name was referred by OPM and I just said "ok." He didn't mention any cities at all. However, as posted earlier, my GAL is completely wide open.

I just received the same email. Called and left a message. Very small GAL (Dallas and Ft. Worth). Crazy! I didn't think I would get a call until a refresh.

How many references are candidates limited to list? You must list the supervisors for your employment going back 15 years. You must also list 9 teferences who cannot include any of the listed supervisors. The references are: 3 judicial (ALJs count for this); 3 adversary (you can list others if you haven't had adversaries); and 3 professional without any duplication of people listed.

For those new to this form, choose those references wisely. IMHO I would call them first and ask them if they are comfortable being a reference. Then I would do a search for the reference thread on this board (on my phone so I can't link it) and send an email to them akin to the one in that thread. The references will be called. And that job has been outsourced in the past.

I definitely did not get the email the same day as the interview call, but your interview date is coming up fast. I bet they get the emails out within the next 2 days.

The questions are not confidential and have been posted here in the past. This is not like the confidentiality of the interview questions.
