Self-scheduling? What, pray tell is that? Has OPM been using that for the quarterly 10 pointer testing and we didn't know that? Very curious.

Thanks Funky, it's been a long absence for me, it's good to be back in contention once again!

I just received word after 3 pm that I am moving on to the WD, LBMT and SI later this Summer. Did not take the online test in 2013, but received an invite to take the online component by July 6th. So happy!

I believe what happened is yesterday those of us who appealed received the ticket. Those who received it today did not appeal. Also, does anyone know what the "self-scheduling procedures" for the WD is?

Also, does anyone know what the "self-scheduling procedures" for the WD is? I actually think this is merely you making your own arrangements to get to DC once given a date for testing. The OPM testing is on your own dime and not reimbursed at all. I think it is just to make clear each person will schedule their own flights and hotels if needed and nothing more.

I was notified of my new-found eligibility for the WD, logic test and structured interview - and my appeal was therefore dropped.
Advised on July 1 that I needed to be in DC on July 15 & 16. Said I could reschedule once and they would try to accommodate.
Guest Quarters Inn is convenient to Metro and OPM.

That would have been a month ago and this would be different from any of the other reports.

I fall into the group of candidates whose score was originally too low to proceed to the next phase, but did not appeal that initial decision. However, I just received notice from OPM that I will proceed to the WD, LBMT, and SI in DC. What I thought was impossible has proven possible. Hope really is a good thing. Check your emails!! I got the same notice yesterday, as well. Totally out of the blue!

And if so, how many of you were there? Inquiring minds, etc.

Is your avatar alright, justa? I feel like I should run over and give it a Heimlich. My avatar is indicative of my experience with this process... Nevertheless, I am girding my loins for the DC portion, and hopeful I will do well enough to make the register. I had written off the ALJ position and moved on, honestly. Getting the email yesterday was a complete surprise, albeit a pleasant one. I hadn't appealed being cut at Phase 2, as that SJT was...well...very new to me and I had absolutely no idea how I did.

As requested, I have moved many of the posters who are moving on to DC from the Round 2 Rejectee's thread to this thread. I may have missed some, so let me know the name and page of the rejectee thread if you think a post should be moved here. Pix.

Per request am sharing my info. Got email invite surprisingly for lbmt/wd etv on friday. The email that says update your email address by aug 21st and we will get back to you with more details late September. I did not appeal. I worked for ssa for a couple years as a decisionwriter decades ago. The majority of my career has been as an outsider.

Oops read invite again. It says expect further details in late summer not late September. Which is crazy as I feel summer is basically over.

Suit for si? Pants suit ok or wiser to go with skirt suit (for the girls)? I can already hear the smart a... mentioning their kilt preferences :/ so figured id better clarify the skirt issue. Sigh. ....

Sigh. .... I wore a pantsuit and there were plenty of other women wearing them that I saw. I would say wear what you are most comfortable in rather than what you think others want to see you in. I think the interview panel is more interested in what you have to say than whether you are wearing pants or a skirt.
