Saw this information about the location change on OPM site earlier. Wasn't sure which thread was appropriate so started a new one . Pixie feel free to move as necessary! I copied the text of the notice below. Structured Interview Location Change — Beginning December 1, 2015, the Structured Interview component of the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) examination will take place at the Washington Hilton, 1919 Connecticut Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20009. Applicants who self-scheduled their Written Demonstration/Logic Based Measurement Test (WD/LBMT) for Nov. 30, 2015 through Fall 2015 will be given their Structured Interview Admission Notices on the day of their WD/LBMT session. Note that through Nov. 20, 2015, the Structured Interviews will continue to be held at the Embassy Suites, 1250 22nd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037. (Posted 11/12/2015)

Too funny! I will be there next week. Since they have already moved the SI, guess it will not hurt to give it a try!

My testing/interview is 12/14-12/15. I am staying 12/13-12/16. Booked a room at the Washington Hilton for $100 a night through Last Minute Travel via Kayak. Total with tax is $343 for 3 nights. I had previously booked a room for twice that. Thought I would share that you can get a room at the interview hotel for cheap.

Hey Odarsaa, good luck! If you don't mind to report the number of test takers back to the board many would be appreciative. Thanks and make sure you get plenty of sleep.

For anyone testing this week, please consider reporting back numbers once you have recovered.

I have a close friend that tested this week, there were 14 people there with (apparently) approximately 5 no shows.

man,...5 no shows! I think that might be a record. However, they could have all or at least some rescheduled.

I have a close friend that tested this week, there were 14 people there with (apparently) approximately 5 no shows. Was that Monday or Tuesday? Theoretically, couldn't there be 3-4 groups this week? I can't recall if there was a Thurs/Friday option, but I thought the WD/LBMT was offered at least Mon-Wed. If so, any numbers for the other days?

I tested on Monday the 30th. There were 12 people present, and my desk mate noted that the sign up sheet was for 17 people. So apparently there were 5 no shows. There may have been 5 no shows on Tuesday as well according to the report from Lance, unless his friend tested on Monday. I was surprised that there were so few present on the Monday after a long weekend. The proctor said she would wait a couple of minutes for late comers, but we got started before 8:05 with instructions. In spite of the CA I will report the following about the testing. The written demonstration caused trauma to my head. What I coulda, shoulda written - forehead slap. What I coulda, shouda said in SI, forehead slap. Logic Based testing - just general head pounding. Good thing I really like my current job though I wish it had more future options. I was too exhausted last night to make dinner (feed yourselves kids) I could not move from the couch or open my computer to report numbers. I did take in some situational bourbon (or Chardonay) last night, but I was not ready to swing from the chandeliers. I just lay upside down on the couch trying to stretch out the tightest back/neck muscles ever. After a full busy day back at work today, I am just recuperated enough to report the testing numbers.

Thanks for reporting Avril503! I understand and feel your fatigue and can wholly relate to the head slaps! Congrats on finishing!
