I posted earlier about receiving the middle of the night email from USA jobs about a status change with my application. If it makes anyone feel better I am early in the alphabet and tested early October. However, I am not confident that there is any order to any of this. I selfishly hope that receiving the status change email early will mean that I will receive my results email early so I can stop wondering if I passed or how low my score might be. if you got the email, based on past history, odds are good you will get a score.

For those of us trying to guess whether there will be a shift from See Details to Complete for more of us -- I was one of the first ones to notice that change. I tested in October, and my name is near the beginning of the alphabet. We don't really know how they are approaching things for our group, but we have here two completely benign reasons that my status could have changed before someone else's did.

Is the theory that if you have received the email last night and it says complete, you are on the register? New to all the lingo..... I am at beginning of alphabet- received email last night.

That is the theory. As I understand it, this is the way things went for those who ended up on the register when we were cut in 2014.

Point of clarification, when we are discussing "Complete" in this thread, it means at the very top of Application Manager (Application Package Status" shows "Complete", not "See Details"). I believe everyone has received the "External Assessment" 2/11/2016/complete notification and no one received an email regarding this change. The email is for the change to Complete at the top. OK Lance, Thank you. I now understand what I did not understand before. The "Complete" status is for the top portion not the external assessment! So I looked and lo and behold I am part of the great unwashed as I still have the "See Details" tab. I do not think this is anything to panic about. It will change when they get all of the scores, etc. in. I looked at my Application Manager for other jobs and they all said "Complete" at the top and for each one of those I did receive an email from USAJOBS. So, I am going to follow the counsel of Judge LizDarcy, Gaidan and others and just "chillax" and enjoy my long weekend.

As I recall, everyone did not hear simultaneously. It rolled out over maybe a few days (my memory could be faulty here). The status changes took place just before Xmas 2013. I believe the changes to status took several days as well. For what it's worth I don't believe your test date or place in the alphabet matters. Most likely there are some admins going through stacks of files. Once they complete their checklist you either move to "complete" or you stay in "see details" so until the emails with either scores or appeal rights go out your status is still subject to change. Gaidan, thanks for the sanity check, as always.

No email as well and still See Details Tab. Since the update for External Assessments showing complete did not occur on the same day, some reported changes with a 2/11 date and others with a 2/12 date, perhaps the change from See Details to Complete also won't occur for everyone on the same day. Hope is a good thing. Cheers!

So it has come down to this? If you got a "change of status" email last night you are on the register and if you did not then you might be on, you might not be on, it depends on when they are done imputing. So if I give value to the belief that an email last night is a premonition of success on the testing, then I abrogate to this board my hopes, dreams, and ambitions that I passed those tests. In lieu of pouring gas on the fire of my anxiety, so to say, I am going to stick my head in the sand till Tuesday, (but not worry until Wednesday, assuming bad weather on Tuesday and the government shuts down). Until then, I am going to enjoy President's Day, content in knowing that that my fate does not rest in the hands omens, gossip, or SWAG.

I got the email (at 1:51 AM), I tested in late November, I am near the beginning of the alphabet. Take whatever meaning you want from those facts, I'm of the opinion that someone started inputting the information on Friday, and that there is no particular order to it.

Just curious it seems from looking back through the posts that those that have seen status changes to Complete from See Details Tab, may also be those that saw their external assessments change with a 2/11 date vs a 2/12 date. Did anyone with an external assessment change to complete on 2/12 also receive the coveted email?

Has anyone who tested in December received an email or indication that their application process is complete?

Yes I think so. Not me but I thought I saw that on here. I am adopting stance that my data entry person at opm left early Friday for a nice long weekend

I too have a 2-11-16 Assessment Complete, See Details. I feel like my first day of law school when one of my professors stated: "You're all in the same boat, and it's sinking!"
