Thanks Pumpkin! Your posts over the last six months have given me some laughs at times I really needed a laugh. I am very happy for you and agree with your thoughts about the others on the board who have been so supportive, especially G and G. Thank you very much for that.

Can someone provide NOR scales? Lowest to highest or really what is the highest possible NOR?

I would assume the theoretical highest score is 110 - i.e., 100 with 10 vet pts. OPM gets quite discrete in the scoring out to two decimal places so anything between 110.00 and down to the "floor" is possible. Discussion of whether there is a minimum threshold to "get a score" is on the Board or if you just get a "not deemed qualified" in lieu of getting a score below a certain threshold. I don't really know for sure - maybe others will chime in.

Can someone provide NOR scales? Lowest to highest or really what is the highest possible NOR? Highest possible score is 110 for a ten-point vet; 105 for a five-point vet; and 100 for the great unwashed. There is a low of 0 on the scale, but we don't know what the lowest possible score in fact is. The actual high and low scores achieved are also unknown. You have to achieve minimums on the WD and SI to get a score; you don't have to achieve a minimum total score to get on the register.

Does anyone have an idea or intel on when those of us who tested in 4th quarter of last year might get scores?

I'm going with late January, due in part to the three "reminders" I received about responding to the gal update and confirmation of continued interest in the position. That, and I think they are being considerate and don't want to crash this board with the combined excitement resulting from sending out offers and NORs at the same time! Oh, and also the Congressional pressure could be a factor.

For those of us who are waiting for NORs, look for an email, as Judge Pumpkin reported as follows (excerpted) in an earlier thread: "Nov 9, 2015 14:49:29 GMT -5 pumpkin said:" "I just received my e-mail, with the subject line, 'Notice of Results (NORs) Vacancy ID: 847661.' Of note to the folks already on the register is that my e-mail also says, 'You have successfully completed all parts of the Administrative Law Judge (ALJ) examination [Experience and Licensure Requirements, Situational Judgement Test (SJT), Writing Sample and Experience Assessment, Written Demonstration (WD) and Logic-Based Measurement Test (LBMT), and Structured Interview (SI)]. Accordingly, your name (with your final numerical rating) will be placed on the register of eligible candidates used to make referrals to agencies for employment consideration.' It also gives an eligibility expiration date of 11/30/2018. " Of course, back then, she was just one of us.

Crazy question but I have a missed call today from a number in Washington DC. When I called the number back,a recording said its not in service. Knowing no one in DC, I am wondering if maybe it's related to the NOR? Or just wishful thinking...

You will be wanting the call from area code 703, which is Falls Church/Alexandria/Arlington.

I checked application Manager and it said my external assessment was complete...but then had a date of Date Complete by: April 24, 2016...Maybe that is the date NOR's go out? Just curious did yours previously have a 2015 date? In other words, the April 24, 2016 date is this a change or update in Application Manager?

Are you guys aware that it is possible you will get your NORs outside of normal business hours?

I hadn't really thought about the time of day we would get the NORs. Nothing to date has come yet. I checked Application Manager this morning and emails. Nothing. It's really frustrating. Here's to hoping something comes soon. I had originally thought we might see something this week. Just my own prediction. No intel here.

My normal business hours are pretty much any day of the week between 530am and 10pm given telework. So if the person sending out NORS has telework any time is possible.

Are you guys aware that it is possible you will get your NORs outside of normal business hours? Reminder - your NOR from OPM will come by email - not by phone folks.
Calm down, when the emails hit, someone will post it and you will frantically search all your inboxes/spam folders for the email. It is too early, based on the 2014 release of NORs, for OPM to have scored several hundred applicants from October to December. Recommend you start to hold your breath/hyperventilate (whatever your preference is) starting around mid- February, like right after President's day, and don't stop until March 25th. I believe that will be your window of receipt for your OPM email.
PS - my predictions have been known to be wrong, usually off by a day or week, but not by a month. There's always a first time though....
