This could be another situation where the register shuts again as it did before. For years as it did with the veteran's preference matter back in the old days.

I just received an email that my name has been certified to SSA... Same thing happened last summer. I was part of that small, "supplemental" cert. Don't know if everyone was around for that situation.

I received my e-mail yesterday afternoon; frankly, I'm astounded because my score is rather low. I was pretty sure they couldn't reach me.

I, too, frequent Laguna Beach and listen to Fleetwood Mac.
I also used to watch the Brady Bunch.
Perhaps we can get together and figure out how to get one (or two) of these nifty jobs.

Hi Noah and other candidates!
Yikes, I put this ALJ thing so far out of my head that I kind of forgot about it until this morning. I have two children (9 months apart) who are beginning their junior years in high school so we've been busy with back to school stuff...and I attended the theater this weekend and stayed on the go!!
My point: We have lives away from these ALJ positions. Lives that will continue clicking along regardless of our selection or non-selection. I personally spend a great part of my day laughing and having a good time.
My HOCALJ and I think the offers will start going out the week of August 17...because of pay periods etc...
Anyone know about propmaster? Haven't seen much from the master lately.

Background checks started yesterday, at lease in my case. Phone calls to all of my past supervisors and my current supervisor.
