I got the offer today for the DOL ALJ position in DC. After thinking about it for about 0.08 seconds, I accepted it. Best of luck to everyone else on the board! Congratulations peejay! (Or should we call you "Your Honor"?) Did they only hire 1 alj for DC? Any word on when they will be looking to interview and fill the other locations?

Way to go, Peejay!! Will you have gold chevrons on your robe, or are you going to opt for an informal approach? Best of luck.

Congratulations, Peejay. I'm sure that you will like your new job, and that all of the stress having to do with the application process will be well worth it. Hope we keep hearing from you. Tricia

Thanks, all. The joy is indescribable, so rather than describe it, I'll just say I hope all of you are feeling it real soon! Good for you Peejay. Welcome to the ALJ corps. I know the feeling and like you wish for the posters here to experience it.

The Boston DOL position was filled. DOL requested a cert for 5 for each location. They did not reach down the list if the top person on the list was interested and available. I assume the person who accepted is not a Board member. PF I sympathize PF. I was still holding out a glimmer of hope that DOL had not requested a cert yet for Cherry Hill NJ (or Boston) and that when they did, they might reach down far enough to grab me. You still have your high score and eventually, it will pay off.
