Way back when I was told that I was not among the most qualified applicants. I appealed as instructed and still have not heard anything.
My primary gripe was that I met minimum requirments in terms of years of experinence, bar membership, and so forth. And then I was able to successfully jump through the hoops of a register that was only open for two days. Seems to me that I should have been allowed to test and interview. My two cents.
Here's hoping that (a) We get some sort of response to our appeals, or (b) they re-open the register and give us another shot.

What he said-ditto. Probably the most frustrating thing for me was that OPM apparently may have ruled on some of these appeals back in September to allow some of the folks to make the current list. Um, excuse me, but I wanted to make that list too! What makes those appellants more deserving of a remedy? Way back when I was told that I was not among the most qualified applicants. Ditto as well. I was hoping we would all get some kind of response on the appeals before the next 25 are selected.
