Omni at it again...received email from K. Romance (really) asking me to fill out a Driving Record Request. Am I wishfully thinking this means SSA really wants me & wants to make sure I can drive to all those remote locations? Mums the word on the red hotrod...Has anyone else received this request?

Not me--only request was for DL numbar and state and any updates on January 8th, one day prior to interview. I did e-mail 2 days ago with some updated contact info and noted one was telephone yesterday, as well as 4 others (not updated) of which I am aware.

The contractor is swamped by the volume of work and has obviously hired temps to do some of the work. I can detect no grand scheme in how things are playing out on reference checks, etc.

Just spoke with Romance from Omni...some states will not release driver record information without a specific form provided by the state. Mine is one of those. So, if you're not contacted it means your state doesn't have that requirement.

Sageadvice, You are not alone. I received the same email request because of my state's legal requirements.
