author=arlene25 "My prediction is Patriots 21, Giants 17. " Closest to the points spread, of all the predictions, but wrong on the winner! (Of course, I didn't make a prediction, so who am I to say )

;DWhat can I say. So proud of Eli, I watched his father play for Ole Miss back in the late 60s and early 70s and can't begin to tell how much enjoyment he gave me. Saw Eli here at Ole Miss, and it brought back so much good memories, and it was fun to watch him. Watching him tonight, even though he did not do a lot offensively, he came through with that touchdown pass, and allowed the defense to play the game out. The Mannings are something else.

I could not be more delighted for Eli - having lived in the shadow of highly successful, older siblings, I celebrate with him. The monkey is now off his back.
(I don't mind being so very wrong on the score of the game!)

:)Well, I think it was a very good game. The Patriots were really out played by the Giants defense. Brady paid the price, and the Giants squeaked in. Thank God.

Underdog after barely catching by happenstance job posting on USAJOBs May 4, rushes through AR, gets blindsided by two heavy hitting linebackers, expected to perform a 4 hour game despite coordination deficiency to hands, and yets winds up at BIG GAME where he thinks he had a very good game. (Quietly) predicted to lose by family and friends....yet stubbornly and steadfastly believes he can win.
