That's not exactly true. The Aints scored multiple points--just not nearly enough.

Very true, after I wrote that they scored, Saints fan here, but wow the old days of being a Saints fan hurt, I have waited forever for the good days, anyway as always good luck to everyone, hopefully we will hear something soon, as Red said to Andy, "Hope is a dangerous thing" Andy replied, "Hope is a good thing"

It's been downhill for the Saints since they stopped paying players for injuring opposing stars.

I wonder if OPM has to post the AG opening on USAJOBS. I have a lot of prosecutorial experience. I think I'll put in for it. I bet it's one of those SES positions. YES I'm JOKING, Mr. President. But call me ASAP for an interview.

I wouldn't think it would affect either the hiring of IJs or SSA's hiring of ALJs.

I wouldn't think it would affect either the hiring of IJs or SSA's hiring of ALJs. The only reason I brought it up for IJs is because they are under DOJ, who ultimately (in theory) is under the USAG.

It is true IJs are ultimately under tha AG. However, from what I've seen in news reports Holder is leaving voluntarily and there does not seem to be Presidential dissatisfaction with his running of the DOJ in general or with the direction Holder has the Department headed with respect to adding IJs. Since Holder will remain as AG until his successor is confirmed I would expect the IJ hiring process will continue apace.

Any idea if a state court judge(myself) without immigration law experience has any chance for interview. Looks like individuals who have been with ice seem to land jobs. Also any idea when notice will be given if selected for interview?

Also any idea when notice will be given if selected for interview? Hi Rocco, I really don't know, I'm an outsider too. I'm a state ALJ with litigation experience so either both of us have no chance at all or we're both totally in. Problem is the Band-Aid budget in effect until the end of the year didn't fund immigration courts, so not sure we'll see anything happen until 2015. Say thank you to a US senator I will not name.
