And I just shaved mine off at the end of December, after having a beard for 20+ years. I will not wax off the 'stashe.

Makes no difference to me about the offers, but I won't shave my face until the last of you gets an offer! May take two weeks, may take two years, may never come, but I won't touch a hair on my face to show my solidarity with the movement. Pix.

tourist, it will help...... WE MUST STAND AS ONE. Boley--my man! Funny you should bring this up. I told my wife we have given up so much to pursue this dream of mine that a beard would be a nice distraction. But my cheek hair looks like Dylan's when he was 20--so its a Van d**e for me. I guess if I make it to training I'll be easy to spot!  PS: Isn't that CUTE--no politically incorrect words here--even when they are used in their proper context! Who do we have to "thank" for that? Another thread? |

Please join me in growing a beard during this process. I have decided to stop shaving until I either get a job offer or determine that I'm not getting one(roughly two weeks from now). Join me brothers and sisters. Men stop shaving. Women stop waxing that upper lip. We will stand together during these trying times.  I'm with you! Here's to a scraggly ALJ playoff beard! ;D |

I'm with Wilddog, will stop growing hair on my head also. I actually stopped doing this a number of years ago in anticipation of this movement.

I can't speak for Yogi (I think he's still working on that pic-a-nic basket with Ranger Rick), but this bear has been letting his beard grow ever since the start of this ALJ application process back in May. I guess for now, I'll go back to hibernating (far away from any razors) with the hope that a phone call will wake me from my mid-winter slumber with some good news. What was that Booboo?! I had a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich stuck in my LONG furr, and I missed this whole topic! (heehee) As you must know, bears shed their furr twice a year, and I grew my heavy coat for the winter sometime last September. I'm not sure I can postpone my Spring shedding for anything..not even an ALJ position.

For a time, I was into alternative rock, but now I'm enjoying country...maybe that happens as you get older...but in college it was all BRUCE SPRINGSTEIN MAN!!!!!! (Guess that dates me.)

Almost cut my beard

You know, when I got back into the beard growing business, I thought I'd only have to grow it for a few days. This thing is gonna get itchy. Yo Boley, try shaving your neck, up to about where the chin starts. Makes for a neater beard. And your beard won't itch. |
