Reminder for all who are testing--they want us all in by 8am sharp "no exceptions" sayeth the letter/reminder. Also BRING YOUR TESTING DATE LETTER --it says to be admitted you gotta have it. (I had copied everything else). Query: how long is the SI? I know I read it somewhere but couldn't find it. Good luck to all Sayeth the 2016 JOA: "SI - . . . . The interview will last approximately one hour, but you will need to arrive early to allow time for instructions."

Sophie'sChoice said: ah, but what pin to put in the lapel?
i don't think i could get away with getting a new pair of heels, however....
As to lapel pin, I'm going with "Support pay raises for all ALJ's NOW!" though I'm toying with "NO more Sequesters!"
Soph--An IME said that your feet would be uncomfortable without adequate footwear. A VE said that for appropriate testing the subject should be comfortable. Therefore, ORDER AND NOW this 20th day of September, 2016, the petition of the applicant to obtain a new pair of shoes having been heard, and there being no objection, it is hereby ORDERED that applicant Sophie's Choice be granted her application and shall, if she deems it necessary, without objection or interference, purchase a new pair of shoes. The Court by: Foghorn, J.
(hey, I want to be able to say I have judicial experience)
Yes, I give others similarly situated the permission to reprint this order with appropriate changes.

Thanks Gary,Florida Girl. As I tell my clients who are nervous about being on the stand, "time flies when you're having fun."

AS ALJD stated in the Thread at the top of the board:
How long is the SI and does the time vary? Are they nice, mean or just Spock-like? Do they feign any interest in your well-being?
Can't tell you because everyone had to sign a confidentiality agreement.

Stop asking questions about the testing. Everything you need to know is in your materials. As Gary pointed out, the answer is in the JOA, and probably other places as well. Just leave it alone. Pixie.

Here's something not in the form of a question: I show up for the WD/J, at the appointed time and date, and my name is NOT on the list. Nowhere. "Do you have a copy of the written confirmation?" and YES, I did - which was completely out of character, but the darned thing did say "Bring This to the Testing Site." So, I pull it out, and am told that all is well.
I add my name in my scrawl to the list.
Moral: DON'T FORGET TO BRING A COPY OF YOUR CONFIRMATION OF THE TESTING TIME TO THE TEST SITE.

Thank you for this important reminder, I have just printed out 5 copies of this email and am placing one in my brief case, one in my wallet, one in my car, giving one to my spouse and folding up the last one to put in the pair of shoes that I will wear to the test. After I thought about, I decided that I needed to do more, because I could manage to misplace any of those paper copies, so I converted the email to a jpeg, which now resides on my phone between the pictures of my family and my dog. Then I was afraid that I might manage to misplace my phone, so to be extra safe I'm posting it here. If anyone sees someone trying to convince the OPM test administrators to log on to the board to download their confirmation email, you know it is me.

That should do the trick.
On a more serious note - have you guys heard from anyone about testing stats this week?
I mean, Hello, doesn't anyone want to share?
The lack of information on ALJ calls AND OPM testing is pretty lame, are we losing our luster?
Don't feel like you have to wait for something important to post - just say you were at testing this week and about how many folks were in the room with you OR just say you got a call and going to baby judge school next month.
Back to work, I guess...

I am happy to stand corrected, after all, you have more of a vested interest in the testing phase.
I have more of a vested interest in my phone, waiting to see if I get the next call this week, or next week.
Still rooting for all of you though!!!
