OPM expected 8 test takers today, 3/7/17 but only 7 showed. 4 men and 3 women. All between 40 and 60. 2 board members. Proctors indicated light schedule in March. Nobody finished the LBT, but several felt good about the WD.

I tested on Monday March 6, 2017 for the WD/LBMT and today Tuesday March 7, 2017 for the SI. I counted 19 people in the room testing for WD/LBMT on March 6, 2017. Approximately 50% men 50% women - in ages from 30's to 60's. When signing out - I noticed one name on the list that did not have a sign in signature. Good luck to all.

2/23 had 17 test takers. Mostly non-board people (only 1 other board member that I could tell). Ages 30-60. Didn't get the exact count of men v women but there were more women than men. At least one SSA employee.

I tested on 3-16. 12 test takers. Ages ranged from 40's to 60's, 7 women and 5 men. I tried to talk to everyone and was able to discern only one other board member. Most everyone I talked to worked either state or federal government jobs, including several opinion writers. Sorry for "lurking" until now.

A close colleague of mine (not a board member) tested yesterday, Monday, 3/20. She reported 16 testers with an even split of women and men.

19 testers today. 20 scheduled (one no show). 9 women 10 men by my count. Ages ranged late 30s to mid 50s.
About 1/3 insider to outsider by my estimation based on who had visitor badges.
Staff also confirmed this is the final day of testing (if anyone was in doubt)

So it looks like around 38% made it to DC for testing.

So it looks like around 38% made it to DC for testing. How are you getting that number, if you don't mind my asking?

Thanks.
So it sounds like the 62% includes both those who failed to set forth the qualifications necessary to be an ALJ and those who did not do well enough on the online testing to be in the higher-scored subgroup.

Yes. I think the estimate was that 500 didn't make it to the online testing but I don't recall how that was derived. All I know was we went from about 5500 applicants to 2100 who tested.

So if another 30 percent get cut after DC, that means the refresh adds 1300 to 1400 names.
Make mine a muffalotta, Bayou.

As testing is over, and Sophie has compiled the stats, I think it is time to close the thread, as Gary suggested. Over the next few days, I will delete the irrelevant posts, including a bunch of mine.
Edit Note: I have now cleaned 4 pages of irrelevant posts. Pixie

And here is a PM from a board member. I think it interesting that only 6 of the scheduled 16 showed up.
"Incase anyone wants stats from today's WD/LBMT only 6 of the scheduled 16 testers showed up today. 2 men 4 women."
