I heard that too. I think the P. E. is realizing the middle of the road is a good place to be.

No the dead armadillos are usually on the side of the road The dying armadillos then? If the drive I did last time this year along I94 is any indication, I would say more like dearly departed deer and raccoons. But, hey, the Solstice was at 4:30, the world is moving in the right direction (at least for us in the northern hemisphere) so the future is bright!

I heard that too. I think the P. E. is realizing the middle of the road is a good place to be. Right next to the dead armadillo. He's on the left of the road, the right of the road, the middle of the road, he's tweeting while driving, and who knows what he's taking to keep himself awake. At least he doesn't have a dog strapped to the roof. Ya'll may be very proficient prognosticating feds, but I think all bets are off on what he will do.

FWIW, in a federal galaxy far, far away (it's actually two systems away from this magical ODAR place I keep hearing about) there is a small moon with a small budget where its dedicated citizens have been told to expect another CR when this one expires . . .

You left out Happy Festivus. Well, still celebrating the Solstice, so slipped his mind. But do be careful on the roads everyone. We need you all back here once the NORs come out and hiring starts up!

You left out Happy Festivus. Let the airing of grievances and the feats of strength begin! I'm in for the airing of grievances, but I'm going to have to wait on the other until we get to feats of weakness.

Feats don't fail me now! My apologies for missing a couple of other observances--but coming up are Tres Reyes/Eastern Orthodox & Slavic Rite(s) observances of Christmas.
But even if it's festivus drive safe (and it should be noted that most festivus observers are underground, vide:
May the peace of all descend on y'all, Whether Festivalian, Alien, or Jewish; May your table be full, with everyone mellow, Resisting the chance to be shrewish.
