Patriotsfan, those numbers represent those ALJs who want in and want out of Region 1. They're not actual transfers. Also, even if someone's on the transfer list, personal circumstances might require them to decline a transfer when it's offered.

Yep, Yankee is correct. Unfortunately there are also those who seem to put their name on a site and repeatedly turn down transfer offers. I don't know if they are waiting until closer to retirement or what. Their name does go to the bottom of the list for that site when they turn down an offer.

I heard that Dallas downtown is getting a transfer in because someone has already accepted and the staff heard about it. They have 2 ALJs retiring in May, so perhaps there is 1 opening for a new hire.

They must offer to number one on the list.

Agency agreed under the last coss to go down the list until someone accepted or the list was exhausted. The evidence suggests this was done on the last cert.
