My October 2016 class used Google Group e-mail to plan social events while at training. See? All the cool kids are doing it! However, since we already have 4 separate groups/lists going, let's not start a 5th Right, I wasn't suggesting another list, just pointing out another way these lists can be very useful. If you stay in Alexandria as we did, I'm sure we can offer lots of fun ideas. And someone should bring a crockpot (probably someone driving in for training rather than flying).

What is the crockpot for exactly?

Like for the World Series or just when you are tired of eating out.

I think Gaidin left the Crockpot in the hearing room Which hearing room? The training room in FC? I thought he left it in the hotel in Alexandria? That has now been so long ago all I remember is talk about Gaidin's crockpot. I don't know where it is.

His recipe for Mississippi Pot Roast was shared with board members waiting for The Call. Guess I just have "hearing room" on the brain :-0

Hey Gaidin how about sharing that recipe for Mississippi pot roast? It sounds like it was a hit. I'd like to try it, and I even have my own crockpot.

I thought he was talking about a crack pot . . . one is a thing some claimants use, and another thing is what some of them are. The skill, dear soon to be robed/robeless ones, is to tell the difference with a straight face. Some of our class went to the International Spy Museum, and picked up several items with the spy motto "Deny everything" on them. Sort of a double entendre.

You are confusing me; I think it is called a crack pipe? Gaidin had a crock pot at the hotel room where he cooked meals for some of his new judge class members.

rusty ? Where'd you park the crock pot? It was a 2016 model. Several updates and new editions to POMS and HALLEX since then. Completely inappropriate for use for this class. Carry on.
It seems as though Rusty has saved the latest class from having to use Gaiden's outdated crockpot. Good for you Rusty! Pixie

I can see it now... three members of the AC dine out for lunch and they order chili. It is cooked following the same recipe the chef uses each day and served with all of the right toppings -- cheese, green onions, sour cream. Although the end result - delicious chili - is correct, two of the three AC trio, having discovered the chef used the 2016 model Crockpot, vote to send it back.
