There is no MSPB office in Milwaukee. I think you are referring to the EEOC.

Ok, you got me to actually go to USAJobs and look at my applications. I was wrong, it was Chicago MSPB and maybe if they post again, I will try again. What was more interesting was that an application from 2017 for the EEOC in Milwaukee is showing as In Progress. Guess I mixed up the locales. Sorry!

Atlanta— where the traffic is awful and the locality pay not that great. I imagine this would be a good opportunity for someone already in Atlanta who really wants to go there. Thanks @judgeknot for posting this opportunity.

Annnnnnnnnnnnd it’s gone.
They must have looked at my application and decided there was no sense in keeping the announcement open any longer, just giving people false hope.

Anyone have any idea on how the MSPB AJ application process works? How many rounds of interviews? Reference checks? Approximately how long it takes to receive an offer if you are so lucky? Thank you so much! <menu type="context" id="fcltHTML5Menu1"><menuitem command="context" label="Textise it"></menuitem></menu>

There is usually one panel interview, and there are reference checks for the selectees. After the panel interviews conclude, offers are usually made within 2-3 weeks. The Board Members have to approve the selection before any offer is made, so that could slow things down.

Has anyone heard back from them? Interview or a reference check or an offer? I applied and it’s been total radio silence.

Seems like a great job that goes to GS-15. The judges appear to have manageable dockets with actual support staff. The office locations are few and, for me, in pretty undesirable areas though. Wish the job was 100% remote. I doubt they even hold in-person hearings anymore.

I saw there were recent postings for Dallas and Oakland. Could they be waiting to interview all candidates (for Arlington, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, and Oakland) at once?

Knocking on the MSPB's door and BEGGING them to make these positions remote. Unlikely, given the current RTO push, but this job would be a dream if it wasn't for the limited location options.

Remote is not going to happen anytime soon. A new CBA just went into effect establishing 2 days/week in the office with some flexibilities.
