OMHA is looking for an Associate Chief Administrative Law Judge for its Kansas City office. Here is the Vacancy Announcement. Candidates must currently hold an ALJ position (at the AL-3 level or above) for at least one year, or be eligible for reinstatement to an ALJ position based on prior experience as an ALJ. Not sure if this announcement has been discussed in any of the active threads.

Looks like it’s limited to internal candidates at HHS.

Big shoes to fill in the Atlanta office; the previous holder of the office moved up to be national Chief Judge.

Should have started a new thread or renamed this one. For a minute I thought my KC ACALJ had quit and not bothered to tell anyone!

Received this form a member who is with OMHA: "There are 2 Associate Chief Administrative Law Judge (AL-2) openings in OMHA: One in the Atlanta Field Office, one in the Irvine Field Office. The KC vacancy was filled over a year ago. The Atlanta ACALJ position is currently vacant and the Irvine ACALJ position comes open on 31 December." The post mentioning KC, to which stevil replied above has been deleted. Pixie
