No mention of training, so it would appear that for most the first time they will use the technology will be during hearings. Ojt training!!!

I'm not worried about noses. My PCP said he was asked to look at hemorrhoids on a telemedicine call. It always can be worse!

I'm not worried about noses. My PCP said he was asked to look at hemorrhoids on a telemedicine call. I had a claimant who brought in a ziploc of excrement once. He wanted to submit tangible proof that he had chronic diarrhea. I declined to admit the exhibit. Respectfully, Hamster Which is worse than jagvets concerns. Gross

Most judges in my office left their robes at the office and have been unable to get them. I and another judge did enough travel dockets that we also kept a robe at home and one judge is a former city judge and still has his from those days. We have asked if perhaps with the new laptops in Dec/Jan, could they ship judge robes with them to the homes or as another office did could we schedule an appointment 30-60 minutes to come to the office and pick up robe and other paperwork or personal items before video home hearings commence. No response yet.

I went into the office this week to pick up the new laptop and we were specifically reminded to take our robes. If I have hearings from home, why can't I wear my house robe?

Not having a robe will be the least distracting thing about my appearance if we go video. However, I believe I was told I could get it if we started doing video hearings from home.

Frankly looking forward to these video hearings. Now we can live wherever we want and provide claimants due process. The BVA has been light years ahead of us. A win/win for claimants and judges. IMHO.

We have not been permitted back into the offices, the new computers were shipped to us. I have gotten three of them.
Halloween City was out of judge's robes- there was a Death costume that I think may have worked as long as I didn't wear the hood.
