HAVE AN ENJOYABLE FESTIVUS!
WHILE MANY SAY "HAPPY" FESTIVUS, A FESTIVAL LISTING GRIEVANCES DOESN'T REQUIRE HAPPINESS-- not to mention that these days it seems almost smug or self satisfied to proclaim 'joy" and "happy" in the face of food banks and ICU's being swamped.
So have an enjoyable Festivus, and be safe and and be well, and may all those you deal with be also of good health.
To get the grievance ball rolling:
Not enough ALJ jobs.
Hiring committees likely forgetting that those of a certain age are to be protected, not to be rejected)
Failure to state what the listing office is looking for (assuming it's not a warm body --or any body--to make it look like the chosen applicant was not pre-ordained but that they did a for-real search, honest they did.
Computers that crash during in person essay testing with no plan for re-do.
Evaluation standards that are nebulous-- "those relevant to the task listed"-- or written in personnelese : "skills/knowledge/experience requirement: governance ..... " [Sorry, but I don't think any litigator wrote that].
but I digress........

Mercury presses F to pay respects to the Festivus pole.
Airing of Grievances: Schedule F 2021 pay raise (?!) May 2018 executive orders (a three-year Festivus repeat!) Possible government shutdown
Feats of Strength: We made it through another year, somehow That’s it. Condolences to everyone who lost a loved one; we shall remember those who are no longer with us.
Festivus miracles: COVID relief? An actually functioning government? Alas, it is too early to tell.
