Best change - Saul is "Acting" As good as that sounds, it's not accurate. He was confirmed by the Senate, unless he has actually resigned and was appointed acting, which we would have heard. Remember Jon Lovitz on SNL as Master Thespian? "Acting! Thank you!"

Not directly SSA related, but the judge's union has a lawsuit pending arguing that Federal Service Impasses Panel members must be Senate confirmed. Per this article, Biden has demanded the Trump FSIP members resignations. The article notes that "the members do not currently require Senate confirmation." Will be interesting to see if the AALJ suit throws a monkey wrench in Biden's plans to appoint FSIP members.

AALJ isn't the only union arguing the above. What I've been reading is that the plans are (or should be) to drop the suits.
