I think the number to look at would not be total hired under the Trump administration, but total who were still under their 2 year probabtion when Biden came in. You could probably look a little bit deeper, i.e. IJs passing probation in first couple of months of Biden Admin might have slipped by before alleged agenda kicked in once appointees in place. What percentage of these groups didn't make it?

You could probably look a little bit deeper, i.e. IJs passing probation in first couple of months of Biden Admin might have slipped by before alleged agenda kicked in once appointees in place. What percentage of these groups didn't make it? That’s a fair point. It looks like O’Brien, the removed judge most often discussed, was in a class of 46. So if all six came from that group, then 40/46 would still be employed. Still not what I would consider “court packing” or a political witch hunt like the Examiner’s histrionics suggested or that he is claiming to every right-based media outlet that will talk to him. I’d also be curious to know (a) how many were hired in 2019-2020 and (b) how many of those appointees were retained. I am sure jafo would know more about the numbers than I care to find at this point, so hopefully this tagging will bring them over from the IJ thread.
