Here are the bare bones of the telework provisions: Judges may telework any time they are not having hearings or required to be in the office for any other reason. A judge may have two telework locations (ADS) plus a temporary ADS. Everyone needs to understand that this board is monitored by everyone all across the country, and by a bunch in China as well. This board isn't limited to a small group of collegial people with the same objectives. Additionally, topics concerning union matters seldom end well. In my experience, it is best that we not discuss them. It is beyond the scope of what we do here. Pixie Not knowing anything about this process, when will the contract be finalized? Would OCALJ wait until the contract is finalized before making offers to the 25 new ALJ hires for this FY?

Vote likely sometime in September to accept the contract (I suspect it passes easily). As such, CBA probably becomes “the law” in October 2022

If you are a "non union" ALJ at the NHC, the AALJ has a web site with a contact link You could explain your situation and perhaps get questions answered through that.
Note that some sections of the site are members only with a log in, but some are public.
