As has been previously posted by ohters on this board, there was a time we all received a very precise breakdown of our scores, how it was computed and how we stood in rank of all candidates scored on that exam. That was before the revised vet friendly scoring formula that led to the Adzell (?) litigation. I strongly suispect that the resulting litigation is what has led to the current situation with respect to revealing the scoring process. But its no different from the rest of government- everyone is very careful about making any "record" that can be breached with FOIA requests and discovery. It is a sign of our time- I never allow any of my hearing notes out of my control. There is an official recording of the proceeding available if necessaryand I never speak to claimants or counsel unless its on the record.
