I just e-mailed the coordinator designated in Commr Astrue's e-mail when they will ask for the Certificate of Eligibles. Will post the reply when (and if ) I get it.
I have heard nothing since receiving the NOR

I'm waiting on my appeal to finish the test. I have great faith that this will actually happen. I've gotten notice that the appeal is being considered. Last year I didn't even get this far. So my theory is that they actually have to determine what they are doing with the appeals (for completing the test, not of the NOR) before they can issue list to SSA. And that must happen before they can start setting up interviews, which has already been indicated as being in April. Anyone agree or disagree?

Southerner: do you mean that SSA has received the list of eligibles or that SSA is preparing to send the request?

My experience is that the e-mails usually come on Friday nights, so let's hope the wait is about over!

The Invitations to Interview for the first round of ODAR hires during the last cycle were e-mailed on the evening of November 30, 2007, which was a Friday. The first interviews for that round were set exactly five weeks after, on January 7, 2008. So if invitations are sent out tomorrow night, five weeks later would be April 20th, 2009, which is the rumored starting date for the interviews. We'll see if it happens again this time.  |
