Was there even a flurry this AM??? Nah, more like a few big drops before the rain... BTW, anybody having trouble working?! Trouble working??? Hmmm, productiveness has seriously declined in the past week.

How can I get any work done when all I can do is hit refresh, and check to make sure my cell phone hasn't accidentally turn itself off.

So... given the pace yesterday, are we going to have to assume that offers will NOT be done today?

So... given the pace yesterday, are we going to have to assume that offers will NOT be done today? Does anyone know whether they are done making the June calls? And if so, when they will start with the July calls?

It's 1:00pm ET. The callers must be returning from lunch. I guess we should be attentive as to how things develop in the next hour.

I spent yesterday morning in court, out of town, - no phones, but no messages waiting. Yesterday, after I got out of court, I even managed to drop my phone in an undisclosed location, before I could check for messages - still no message upon eventual retrival. Today also in court out of town, but no messages waitin for me afterwards. I even drove back to the office through an area without cell phone receiption - still no message! I don't know what else to do. I can't afford to go to Croatia like NW did - but maybe that's what you have to do - show you can't be bothered - become unreachable, then they'll call!! Guess I'll just go to lunch - without my phone, in case anyone cares. Wait, was that my phone ringing? Just the elevator -...

I feel sorry for my dog - every hour I call home to see if there are any calls on the answering machine. I'm sure it wakes her up every time!

Well, got a pm from someone who did call the OCALJ's office. Supposely they are calling as soon as personnel actions come down from the CJ. However, the personnel actions are coming at a relatively slow pace. So at this rate, things might drag on for a while. This was posted on the "Someone call" thread on the WWW. If this is true, it would explain why offers are trickling out.

There hasn't been a single offer reported in the past two hours. What does that mean??

I believe there were 2 and incredibly no one transfered in- a real sign of the real estate market I guess but wait till the next hire in Sept since the 2 year transfer requirement is now kaput (per the Chief Judge).

A few people are still receiving offers today to start June 22. That's less than three weeks to turn your life upside down!!! I am sure that we all can handle it.

Decadealj is right. The 4/15 transfer list shows 4 sitting ALJs who have requested DC. All 4 were offered transfers there earlier this year but declined. In the past there were more judges requesting DC, but some have gotten there by going to another agency or to the FC video hearing center, so the AALJ transfer list is down to 4.
