From WWW: Have any non-insiders gotten offers for June 22? Or is the June 22nd date only for insiders who can probably move quicker? So far in the June cycle, I know of at least a military judge, a couple state ALJs, and some non-SSA federal attorneys. Someone should probably run an anonymous poll and see what the breakout is. DONE!
See new poll: Offerees: Pre-ALJ PositionsAmended to add link to the poll for this post. Please login and participate if possible since it gives everyone a better understanding of this offer cycle. Thanks!

So far, it appears that 100% of offerees are non-SSA federal attorneys/employees.
My olympic sport was jumping to conclusions.

6 votes (for those who don't visit the poll board) - all from governmental types.

10 votes so far. Nine are government people, and one public interest/legal aid lawyer. The guest who posted on WWW querying whether government lawyers got assigned to the first class seems to have been on to something...

14 votes so far, only one non-governmental type.

Make that two non-government. I'm in private practice (until July 20)

Interesting. With 32 votes in (over half of the member offerees), there are still only three non-government lawyers. I think this is less to do with the offers than it is to do with the membership of this board. I always thought this board skews East Coast, but it never occurred to me that it might be because of a high government membership (duh, now that I think about it). I am making a new poll for the memebership to report its locations so I can finally see if my suspicions are correct. Please vote in it (the link below will take you to it: [glow=blue,2,300] POLL![/glow]

Thanks to all the offerees taking time and effort to vote in the polls. The compilation of these anonymous stats provide others with information (or a feeling of being informed).
With 37 of the 56-60 forum member appointees voting, 29.7% are what I would call "insiders," while still only 8.1% are non-governmental.
Other polls being conducted will clarify if these percentages reflect the bias of the forum membership or of the selections.
If you are an offeree and have not yet voted in this, or other, polls, please do so. Thanks in advance.
