To all registered on this board both new and old,
Although I haven't been here as frequently as I was back in 2007 and 2008, I want to pass on holiday wishes onto all of you here. I am truly thankful for your companionship through these trials and tribulations called the ALJ application process. When frazzled and anxious, I found comfort in your postings. Hopefully, next Thanksgiving, we can be thankful for our ALJ jobs.
In honest sincerity, Crazybroad
P.S. PF, I'm a Belichek fan from the Cleveland days, my cousin played for him.

Happy Thanksgiving Crazybroad, Patriots Fan, and everyone else. Yes, I would like to second what Crazy said about being thankful for the companionship I found from a bunch of strangers on this board. Tricia

Bah. Humbug. As great as this year has been and despite the fact that I have a lot of things to be thankful for, it could have been better. ) -- Happy holidays.

I am trying to remain positive.
I was a candidate on the register in the 1990s . My 1998 NOR score was in the high 80s.
I appealed my score in 1998, and I lost one point. Then, based on the Azdel decision, my score was reduced to low 70s.
Then, there was the suspension of the register in 1999 (based on the Azdell).
I'm on the register again, but . . .
Anyway, I digress ... Happy Holidays to all!

I've heard more than a couple of stories from ALJs who had applied, interviewed and then after years had gone by and they had completely given up on the job, got a call.
A couple of ALJs who have been on this Board were persistant and interviewed well at other agencies and got hired.
If you are not happy with your score, wait and take the exams again.

He was no genius when he coached there. As a matter of fact, he ruined the franchise, which gave Modell the opening to move the team. Happy Thanksgiving nonetheless

Well if he has any more moments like last week, I'll wonder if he's just been doing it too long a la Bobby Bowden. But even that call has had some computer calculated support.

Go Vikings. . .they sure look good this year with Favre, 10-1 so far, and my wife is from Minnesota, so I root for the Vikes. Funny, she and most other Minnesotans I know were pulling their hair out when it looked like Favre might come to the Vikings. Now they sort of like the guy. Funny how things work out.
Me, I'm from St. Louis, Go Big Red...oops, now it's the Rams. Think I'll keep rooting for the Vikings. ;D
Happy Holidays everyone!

I grew up with season tickets to the Patriots in the 1970's. There was not a more sorry bunch of folks, or a more gadawful place to watch a game than the old Sullivan/Schaeffer Stadium. Aluminum benches in December! Losing season after losing season. Ahhh, the early Patriots - the Italian American team, with Babe Parilli and Dante Lavelli, right ?

The Saints are for real. They showed they can play a so-so game and yet still rise to the top and win against a tough NFL team....
